The JS Group in partnership with Payit from NatWest, has won an award at the UK’s Open Banking Expo Awards 2023.
The Best Use of Open Banking by a Non-Financial Services Company Award recognises the unique way in which Aspire Cash helps universities to speed up the delivery of cash to students in receipt of bursaries, scholarships, hardship funds and other financial awards.
University partners using Aspire Cash report a massive saving in administrative time when it comes to processing student payments and that the service enables a radical improvement in student engagement for their university.
More than 30 UK universities now benefit from Aspire Cash – which is extremely quick to set-up and, in the current cost-of-living crisis, radically makes life better for students in need of access to cash.
The JS Group was also shortlisted for the Open Banking for Good Award – based on the transformative power of Aspire Cash for students.
David Marshall, Group Director for the JS Group, and Dawn Aucott, Group Project Officer, both received the award at London’s Design Centre on October 19.
“This award acknowledges our innovation, hard work and commitment when it comes to helping universities to support their students in delivering much-needed financial payments that help students have a more beneficial higher education experience,”
said David Marshall.
