JS Group Appoints Hugo Mahoney as Non-Executive Director

JS Group is delighted to announce the appointment of Hugo Mahoney as Non-Executive Director.

Hugo brings with him a wealth of strategic expertise and a track record of guiding organisations through growth, transformation and change. He has recently been appointed Chairman of First Milk, the B Corp farmer-owned dairy co-operative, alongside his new role with JS Group.

Hugo’s executive career includes serving as CEO of Samworth Brothers, a fourth-generation family food company, and Brakes, the UK’s leading food service distributor. His early career began in FMCG with Coca-Cola Enterprises before progressing to leadership positions at technology-driven organisations undergoing significant change, including LexisNexis and Sage.

Beyond his executive roles, Hugo has acted as an advisor to UKTI and currently serves on the School of Management Advisory Board at Swansea University.

His broad cross-sector experience will provide valuable independent advice and strategic insight as JS Group continues to grow and support universities in delivering impactful student financial support.
