JS Group is proud to announce a new partnership with Save the Student \u2013 the UK\u2019s leading student money website \u2013 to launch the first ever Save the Student Bursary<\/strong>, designed to help new university students from low-income and disadvantaged backgrounds access the essentials they need to start their higher education journey.<\/p>\n

With over 38% of students recently reporting that financial worries have made them consider dropping out of university*, this timely initiative provides vital early support to those who need it most.<\/p>\n

Through our award winning Aspire platform, we\u2019re delivering six bursary awards of \u00a3750 \u2013 a total of \u00a34,500, funded jointly between Save the Student and JS Group. The bursary is open to prospective undergraduate students starting university in the 2025\/26 academic year, with a household income of \u00a340,000 or less.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

At Save the Student, we\u2019ve spent almost 20 years helping people make ends meet at university. But this is currently one of the most financially challenging times to pursue higher education, with our latest National Student Money Survey finding that 38% of respondents had considered dropping out due to money worries. <\/em><\/p>\n

So, as the UK\u2019s number one student money website, it feels only right that we try to get ahead of this by awarding our first ever bursary to new starters. <\/em><\/p>\n

Special thanks must go to JS Group too, who have been incredibly generous in donating not just their money and service, but also their decades of expertise. <\/em><\/p>\n

Applicants can use the funding towards essential start-of-term purchases, including laptops, kitchenware, bedding, and subject-specific equipment \u2013 items that can make all the difference to feeling prepared and confident when starting university.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>

Applications open on Tuesday 29th April<\/strong> and will close on Friday 20th June<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
