Through the innovative engagement schemes run in over 30 partner universities we have helped support over 1 million students and have been able to provide compelling data to support key measures such as recruitment, retention and satisfaction.<\/p>\n<p>A natural extension to this is how we can help our partner universities and large corporate businesses ensure that students from diverse backgrounds get the help and advice to maximise those opportunities to move into skilled graduate employment.<\/p>\n<p>As part of this initiative we sought to recruit not only a sector expert, but also someone who is deeply passionate about the topic, to help us deliver on our mission as a business.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"blockquote\">\n<footer class=\"blockquote-footer\">Tricia King said:<\/footer>\n<p>Working to support non-traditional learners is a lifelong priority so this work is a passion project for me.\u00a0 As the child of immigrant community and first in my family to go to university, the transformation that education can bring is a lived experience.\u00a0 This work with the JS Group is fresh and innovative and it has the potential to really shift the dial on the employment prospects of WP students.\u00a0 It will bring together smart employers, ambitious students, and innovative universities.\u00a0 All parties will benefit.\u00a0 The initial focus will be on working in partnership with founding corporates, employers, universities and other experts to scope, develop and implement innovative new services at the graduate employment stage of the student journey.\u00a0 In the early weeks of my work with the JS Group it is clear to me that there is a real appetite for this work in all quarters<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Tricia brings a wealth of experience to this role having worked in the university sector in several senior roles including Pro-Vice-Chancellor for Strategic Engagement at Birkbeck College in the University of London for 11 years.
