Embedding better career opportunities for students from under-represented groups

Our Diversity into Work project tackles the career barriers faced by many graduates from under-represented groups. There is strong evidence that students from the least-advantaged families and communities do not always thrive in the current jobs market. At the JS Group we are working with committed universities, inspired corporate partners and other clever thinkers to explore what effective partnership might do to shift the dial on social mobility into the workplace.

The Diversity into Work project is championed by Tricia King, a member of the JS Group Advisory Board. See her blog that outlines her lived experience of the transformative power of higher education and why she is proud to be developing this work.

Founding Partners

The JS Group has gathered a task group of founding partners who are ambitious, thoughtful and keen to explore new ways of recruiting under-represented groups onto corporate grad schemes. They are enlightened employers wise enough to know that a truly diverse workforce leads to a resilient business.
